CM orders expeditious development
PATNA, April 16 -- Chief minister Samrat Choudhary on Wednesday instructed senior officials to expedite development projects in the state and perform their duties with utmost sincerity and dedication. The newly-elected CM also reiterated the necessity of implementing a 'Zero Tolerance' policy towards corruption, from the highest levels of administration down to the lowest.
Recalling his prior experience working alongside them, Choudhary said that work is indeed being executed efficiently on the schemes formulated by the state government. Choudhary stressed timely execution, urging officials to further accelerate the pace of work. He emphasised that working at an increased pace will lead to rapid resolution of problems.
"It should be our collective effort to ensure swift resolution of the public's grievances. Whenever an issue concerning the public arises within any department, ensure that immediate action is taken to address it. There should be no bureaucratic complexities regarding the resolution of land-related disputes; instead, streamline procedures to ensure their speedy disposal," he said.
"We have worked under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Nitish Kumar. The work accomplished by Nitish Kumar has led to significant development in Bihar-a fact of which everyone is well aware," the BJP CM said during the meeting. He then asked the officials to work with urgency for the implementation of 'Saat Nishchay-3' in the state.
Later in the day, Choudhary visited the BJP state headquarters and met party workers. Speaking at the party office, Choudhary said that Bihar will be governed on the "Modi-Nitish model".
"I will immediately start working for the prosperity of the state. It should remain clear that Bihar will continue to be governed on the Modi-Nitish model," he said....
