AURANGABAD, June 27 -- A 17-year-old Class 10 student was assaulted and killed with a sharp-edged weapon at Janpur village under Barun police station of Aurangabad district late on Wednesday night, police said. Identified Manoj Paswan, only son of his parents, the boy had gone to meet his girlfriend, a Class 9 student, at her house on her birthday where her father and other family members reportedly caught him in compromising position with the girl and killed him, police said. Girl's mother is a deaf and dumb person and her father and brother had gone out when the girl called the boy at 11pm. At about 1am, the girl's cousin saw them in an objectionable position and informed the girl's father on phone after locking the door. The father, brother, uncle and cousin brutally assaulted and killed him, sub divisional police officer (SDPO) Sanjay Kumar Pandey said. Deceased's father in the case registered with Barun police station, alleged that Mahendra Yadav, Birendra alias Sadhu Yadav, Suman Yadav, Nitish Yadav and Ram Kewal Yadav caught and dragged the boy inside their house when he had gone out to defecate at 9.30pm. The boy shouted for help on which the father reached their house but was attacked and chased away before he informed police. Police reached the place around 2am and rescued the senseless boy with a sharp cut injury on his neck and took to the nearest hospital where doctors declared him dead. His autopsy was conducted at the sub-divisional hospital in the morning. Family members and a group of locals blocked the Barun-Daudnaga road demanding arrest of the accused.
