Civil court employees outfit sends representation to acting CJ
ARA/BUXAR, July 2 -- The president and general secretary of the Bihar State Civil Court Employees Association have submitted a representation to the Acting Chief Justice of the Patna High Court and other justices, highlighting the prolonged delay in addressing their long-pending demands, even months after withdrawing their statewide strike.
Association president Rajeshwar Tiwari stated that despite assurances given during the civil court employees' strike six months ago, none of their grievances have been resolved. "We were verbally assured that our demands would be addressed in a time-bound manner. However, not a single issue has been acted upon so far," he said.
The key demands of the employees include a change in nomenclature, pay enhancement, promotion opportunities, and compensatory appointments. Tiwari stressed that repeated representations and reminders have yielded no results-no policy decisions, notifications, or progress reports have been issued on any of the demands.
"The civil court employees have always supported the justice system with full dedication. Now, they are seeking justice for themselves," he said.
According to Tiwari, widespread resentment prevails among the subordinate staff of civil courts across the state due to the government's continued apathy.
He pointed out that many court employees have remained in the same position for decades without any promotion or salary revision....
