Mussoorie, Sept. 6 -- The Char Dham Yatra, suspended since September 1 following incessant rains and unsafe conditions in the hills, will resume from September 6, officials announced on Friday . Garhwal commissioner VS Pandey said the suspension was imposed purely on safety grounds after heavy downpours triggered landslides and flooding along key stretches of the pilgrimage routes. "The weather is now stabilising, skies are clearing, and roads are gradually becoming more secure.
