PATNA, Nov. 22 -- The Opposition party Rashtriya Janata Dal ( RJD) on Friday once again alleged that the Opposition's Grand Alliance or Mahagathbandhan lost three seats due to deliberate electoral malpractices by giving figures of how there was a marginal difference between the losing margin of the coalition candidates and rejected postal ballots in these seats. In a post on RJD's facebook account, the party said that in Nabinagar seat, it lost by 112 votes whereas the number of rejected postal ballots stood at 132 whereas in Sandesh, the RJD lost by 27 votes whereas the number of rejected postal ballots stood at 360. The party said in Agioan seat, the CPI-ML(liberation), a key ally in the Mahagathgandhan, lost by 95 votes whereas the rejected postal ballots stood at 175. In another post, the RJD has taken swipes at the way Rs.10,000 was disbursed to the accounts of women during the election process, calling it a violation of the model code of conduct. Sharing a video where a woman is purportedly expressing how she voted for the NDA for getting Rs.10,000 and promise of Rs.2 lakh under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana as well as promises of jobs to unemployed, the RJD said in the post that "women of Bihar now await the disbursement of Rs.2 lakh as promised". During the recently concluded Bihar elections, the Opposition's CM face and RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav had promised that every household in the state not covered by government jobs would get government employment and also had slammed the NDA for launching sops like giving Rs.10,000 to women for staring enterprises, calling it a "bribe" and had questioned why the government had resorted to giving such monetary assistance just ahead of the polls. Meanwhile, the RJD has also taken dig at the NDA for induction of several ministers in the new government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar coming from top poltiical families or kin of ministers , to corner the NDA's campaign against the RJD of promoting "family rule" in the party. In a post on X, RJD jibed at the ruling NDA leaders who swore in as ministers today in the newly formed Bihar government for accusing the Mahagathbandhan of "dynastic politics", implying that the ruling parties were the ones doing so. RJD pointed out that several newly sworn-in ministers have family ties to politicians. The RJD has specifically named 10 ministers, including Samrat Choudhary, Nitin Nabin, and Shreyasi Singh, highlighting their connections to established political families. "I take a vow that with the special affection and blessings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar, who are staunch opponents of dynastic politics, I will eradicate family rule from Bihar's politics and build a new Bihar," the RJD said with a taste of sarcasm. The RJD highlighted the names of leaders with direct familial ties to those in power, including Santosh Suman Manjhi, former Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, and Ashok Choudhary. Santosh Suman Manjhi, according to the RJD, is the son of Union Minister Jitam Ram Manjhi, the son-in-law of MLA Jyoti Manjhi, and the husband of Deepa Manjhi. Samrat Choudhary is the son of former Minister Shakuni Choudhary and the late former MLA Parvati Devi. The RJD said that Deepak Prakash, who was sworn in as the minister today, is the son of former Union minister Upendra Kushwaha and MLA Snehlata. Ashok Choudhary is the son of former minister Mahavir Choudhary and he is also the father of Samastipur MP Shambhavi Choudhary....
