Jalandhar, July 17 -- A 26-year-old Canada-based man has been arrested in connection with the July 14 hit-and-run case that claimed the life of veteran marathon runner Fauja Singh, police said on Wednesday. The accused, identified as Amritpal Singh Dhillon, allegedly drove the SUV that hit the 114-year-old Singh around while he was crossing road in Beas village in Jalandhar district of Punjab, police said.
