BSNL 'fixes' subscriber's faulty cell number
PATNA, March 19 -- A BSNL pre-paid mobile subscriber in Bihar's Gaya who bought his SIM from Jharkhand in 2007-08 and ported it to Kerala in 2017, got his connection back from Hazaribagh in Jharkhand on Tuesday, within two working days of surrendering it on Saturday, as the telco innovated a solution to tide over its technical limitation to swap an inter-circle SIM by asking the customer to surrender his connection from Kerala through e-mail and getting the same number allotted to him from Jharkhand, following a snag in his SIM, said officials....
