bjp shunting JD(U) stalwart out of bihar, alleges rabri
PATNA, March 8 -- Former chief minister and Leader of the Opposition in the state legislative Council, Rabri Devi on Saturday launched a scathing attack against the BJP of trying to "forcibly oust" chief minister from Bihar and expressed that the 75 year old JD(U) strongman should not leave Bihar at any cost.
"The BJP is driving Nitish Kumar out of Bihar. He has lost his mind. Nitish Kumar should not leave Bihar," she said, while talking to reporters after returning from New Delhi.
Rabri's statement holds significance as it indicates how the RJD, considered arch political rival of the ruling JD(U) since the two parties parted way in January 2024 after a 17 month long stint in power as partners in the Grand Alliance government, is now sympathetic to the ruling party in the backdrop of Chief Minister Kumar having already announced of leaving the CM's post in days to come after filing his nomination to the Rajya Sabha on March 5th.
Earlier, leader of the opposition and RJD's national working president Tejashwi Prasad Yadav too had stated that there were enough reasons to believe that CM Kumar's decision of leaving the CM's post to make a transition to national politics by opting to go to Rajya Sabhais a 'well scripted plan' of the BJP....
