BETTIAH, Sept. 30 -- Former BJP state president and West Champaran MP Sanjay Jaiswal on Monday lashed out at political strategist-turned-Jan Suraaj party founder Prashant Kishor over two allegations made against him. He also targeted IAS officer Manoj Kumar for allegedly attempting to malign his image with mala fide intent. Jaiswal warned that he would file a defamation suit of Rs.132.24 crore against Kishor if he did not issue a formal apology. Speaking to media persons at Bettiah, Jaiswal said he had sought reports from the Indian Railways and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) under the Right to Information (RTI). "The reports have revealed that no changes were made to the alignment of the Chawani Overbridge and no changes have been made to the design of the national highway," said Jaiswal, sharing the copy of the reports received under the Right to Information (RTI). Through a legal notice served to Kishor, dated September 1, the BJP leader had expressed his grave displeasure over Jan Suraaj founder's statement made during his visit in West Champaran on August 27....
