BJP, JD(U) likely to contest over 100 seats each in NDA formula
PATNA, Sept. 11 -- With the Vice-President's election over, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is in hurry to finalise seat-sharing for the Bihar elections. The final round of negotiations is going to take place soon and, according to insiders, leading partners -- BJP and JD(U) -- are expected to contest over 100 seats each and leave the rest to allies.
As per one estimate, BJP-JD(U) are expected to contest 205-210 seats together.
Rest 33-38 seats will be left for the three allies, with the LJP-RV getting the third highest share of 20 plus seats, said a senior NDA leader aware of the matter.
