GAYA, Feb. 21 -- Amid the ruling JD (U)'s apparent attempts to woo him into the NDA fold, Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) chief and former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Wednesday reiterated he would remain in the opposition alliance even if he was denied ticket for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls and said he was even contemplating a seat in the Rajya Sabha.

On Tuesday, senior JD (U) leader Ram Chandra Prasad Sinha had told media persons in Gaya that Manjhi would get a respectable position were he to join the NDA camp.

"Our party leader Nitish Kumar has a great heart and he honours the dignity of every party leader. If Jitan Ram Manjhi extends his hands for a reunion, he will be welcomed and honoured as usual. We have no grudge against him ...
