SUPAUL, March 23 -- A -22- year old female constable allegedly died by suicide at the premises of Supaul Sadar block where she was deputed along with other constables on the occasion of Eid. The deceased constable, a resident of Bhojpur district was posted at a local police station in Supaul. The police have recovered a suicide note from the site. According to the police, the constable was found hanging in the abandoned bathroom in the block premises late evening Saturday. "She left the place in the pretext of charging the mobile phone and when she didn't return even after an hour, we started searching for her and found her hanging inside the abandoned bathroom," the female constables who were also there on duty told police. Soon after the deputy inspector general of police (DIG) Kumar Ashish superintendent of police (SP) Sarath R S and other police officers reached the site and started investigation. "We have recovered mobile phone and a suicide note from the site," Gyan Ranjan station house officer (SHO) of Kishanpur police station said, adding "Further probe is underway." He didn't reveal anything regarding the contents of the suicide note. Meanwhile postmortem was conducted and the family members have been intimated.
