PATNA, March 27 -- The school teachers of Bihar, who are without salary since January and on strike since February 17, Thursday appealed to the President and Prime Minister to take cognizance of the matter and direct the state government to accept their legitimate demands.

The TET-STET qualified teachers' association, in its letter to the President, stated that the teachers were on the verge of starvation but still discharging their social obligation and creating awareness to stay indoors and maintain social distancing.
