PATNA, Aug. 7 -- The third edition of the Bihar Museum Biennale 2025, getting underway from Thursday, will have the theme 'Global South: Shared Histories', and it will continue till December 31. Curators, artistes and experts from Latin American, African and Asian countries, besides India, will showcase their culture, heritage and society to give people a feel about their uniqueness, richness and diversity. CM Nitish Kumar will inaugurate the mega event at Bihar Museum premises. The state-of-the-art museum, a brainchild of Kumar, was opened for the public in 2015. It also hosted the 'Together We Art' exhibition, showcasing select artefacts of renowned artistes from G-20 countries. Director General, Bihar Museum Anjani Kumar Singh said scholars, researchers and art lovers from several countries like Ethiopia, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Mexico, Thailand, Switzerland, Argentina, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka etc. would participate in the event. Besides, India's three premier institutions like the National Gallery of Modern Art, Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts and Mehrangarh Museum would also participate in the biennale....
