PATNA, July 1 -- Bihar Engineering University (BEU) marked a historic academic milestone on Monday with the digital declaration of the B. Tech results for the academic session 2021-25 and the first-ever Ph.D. programme results. The announcement was made by Sumit Kumar Singh, minister, department of science, technology & technical education (DSTTE), during a press conference. Speaking at the event, Singh said, "This is a proud moment for Bihar. From offering government polytechnic diplomas at Rs.5 per month, to Rs.10 monthly tuition fees in government engineering colleges for B. Tech students, then the introduction of M. Tech courses, and now stepping confidently into Ph.D education, Bihar is nurturing the engineers and researchers of tomorrow." He emphasised the role of modern infrastructure, BPSC-recruited faculty, hostel amenities, and residential quarters in facilitating student placements in top companies and admission to premier institutes like IITs and NITs. He also noted that one-third of seats in B.Tech and M.Tech programs are reserved for female candidates. Dr Pratima, IAS, Secretary of DSTTE, congratulated BEU on this achievement and stated, "Timely publication of student results is the real measure of academic progress. Bihar is entering a golden era of technical education, with industry collaborations, MoUs, and prompt academic reporting opening new doors for our students."
