BETTIAH, Feb. 10 -- One person died while 11 others, including six Intermediate examinees, were injured in two separate road accidents reported from East and West Champaran districts of Bihar on Monday morning, police said. In the first incident, a man was killed and three others were injured when an e-rickshaw collided with another vehicle at Belwa Rai village under Turkauliya police station limits in East Champaran. "The body has been handed over to the family after the postmortem," said Uma Shankar Manjhi, station house officer of Turkauliya police station. The injured have been admitted to a local government hospital, he added. In another incident, eight people, including six female candidates appearing in the ongoing Intermediate examination, were injured when the auto-rickshaw they were travelling in collided with an SUV near Jaimangalapur petrol pump under Sikarpur police station in West Champaran. "Among the injured were six examinees and two guardians who were travelling from Lauriya to Narkatiaganj to reach the examination centre," said Jwala Singh, SHO of Sikarpur police station. "Three of the examinees were referred to GMCH, Bettiah, and could not appear for the examination," the SHO added....
