Bihar: LNMU appoints permanent principals in 15 constituent colleges
DARBHANGA, July 21 -- Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) has appointed permanent principals in 15 of its constituent colleges spread across the districts of Darbhanga, Madhubani, Samastipur, and Begusarai. The appointments were formally notified by the registrar's office on Sunday.
The largest number of appointments were made in Madhubani (6 colleges), followed by Samastipur (5 colleges), Darbhanga (3 colleges) and Begusarai (1 college).
The selection of these candidates was based on the recommendations of the Bihar State University Service Commission (BSUSC) and approved by the education department of the state government.
Vice-chancellor Sanjay Kumar Choudhary exercised his statutory authority under the Bihar State Universities Act, 1976, and relevant university statutes to formalise the appointments.
Each selected candidate has been assigned a specific place of posting, duly mentioned in the official order.
These appointments are subject to final clearance by the university syndicate.
The entire process has been carried out in accordance with the statutes framed by the chancellor's secretariat and in accordance with the direction issued by the office of chancellor vide the letter concerned dated May 16, 2025....
