BETTIAH, May 17 -- An inadvertent move to copy Bajirao Singham, a character of policeman in Ajay Devgan-starrer yesteryear's Bollywood blockbuster Singham for their social media wall exacted a heavy price from six people, including two minors. Bihar's Lakhaura police arrested six of them after they allegedly dressed up as police personnel to film short video on Singham for their YouTube channel from a place in East Champaran district. Pankaj Kumar, station house officer (SHO), Lakhaura said all the six persons were arrested from the same location when they were ready to shoot a video clad in police uniform near Sarsaula government school at Sarsaula Jhitkahiya village around 6pm on Thursday. "After the arrest, it was later found out that they were members of a YouTube troupe preparing content to be uploaded on YouTube. They, however, were arrested as wearing a police uniform without the required permission is a punishable offence," the SHO said. However, those arrested feigned their ignorance about the offence they were charged with. "It was a lack of behaviour knowledge that we roamed around inadvertently in police uniform and filmed videos to post in our social media walls," SHO Kumar quoted the arrested persons as saying.
