DARBHANGA, Aug. 24 -- The court of in-charge sessions judge Suman Kumar Diwakar on Saturday issued warrants of arrest (WA) against the superintendent of Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) and the Station House Officer (SHO) of Singhwara police station for failing to comply with repeated judicial directions. The court had directed the DMCH superintendent to furnish the medico-legal injury report in connection with the bail plea of five undertrial prisoners in Baheri police station case no. 249/25. Despite repeated reminders, including a letter sent on August 18, the report was not submitted, leading the court to issue the arrest warrant and entrust its execution to the Benta police station in-charge. Compliance has been sought by August 28, officials said. Similarly, in connection with Singhwara PS case no. 133/25, the court expressed displeasure over the non-submission of the case diary despite repeated directions. The bail petition of an undertrial accused has remained pending since July 2 due to the lapse.
