Arms scam: CBI raid against IAS officer
PATNA, Feb. 21 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) late on Wednesday carried out searches at seven places including Patna in connection with a probe into alleged accumulation of disproportionate assets by 2010-batch IAS officer, Kumar Rajeev Ranjan, a native of Bihar. Rajeev Ranjan, Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territories cadre IAS officer, is currently posted as Revenue Secretary in Jammu & Kashmir, is accused in the infamous arms license scam of the state....
