All MLAs united under Kushwaha: RLM's Alok Singh
SASARAM, Jan. 22 -- Putting an end to the speculations about split in the Upendra Kushwaha's Rastriya Lok Morcha (RLM) after appointment of his son Deepak Prakash in the state cabinet, party MLA Alok Kumar Singh, completely dismissed these reports.
For some time now, there had been continuous speculation that three RLM MLAs were dissatisfied with the decisions of party supremo Upendra Kushwaha.
There were reports that a major split could occur in the party after 'kharmas' (an inauspicious period in the Hindu calendar).
Party MLA from Dinara in Rohtas district Alok Kumar Singh termed the media reports as mere rumours. He clarified that misleading news about the RLM had been circulating since the elections. No MLA had given any statement about leaving the party or expressing dissatisfaction with the decisions.
Talking to media men, Singh emphasised that his party believed in uniting, not dividing. He said all the speculations of those waiting for a split after 'kharmas' have now proven false. There was no question of a split. All the three RLM MLAs were strong soldiers of the party and were completely united under their leader Upendra Kushwaha, he reiterated.
Earlier, Singh had organised a dahi-chura feast at Bhaluni Dham to send a message of unity. RLM supremo Upendra Kushwaha's wife and Sasaram MLA Snehlata Kushwaha also attended the feast....
