AIMIM forms alliance with smaller parties
KISHANGANJ, Oct. 16 -- The All India Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) has formed an alliance with the Azad Samaj Party (ASP) and Apni Janata Party (AJP) to contest the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. The coalition, named the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA), announced to contest 64 seats. Later on Wedesday, the Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP) led by former Union minister Pashupati Kumar Paras said that it would join the AIMIM bloc along with the Janata Congress Party, and the Bheem Army and contest all 243 seats in Bihar.
The AIMIM didn't clarify on RLJP claim.

Talking about chief minister Nitish Kumar, he said, "Sometimes he appears to be wise and sometimes very ordinary."
Imam however didn't disclose names of candidates and said the candidates would be announced later.
RLJP spokesperson Lallan Kumar Chandrawanshi said in Patna that the RLJP was also in talks with a few other smaller parties to boost the newly formed third front.
