Barmer, May 7 -- The education department has launched AI-powered Oral Reading Fluency (ORF) programme on mobiles to help students in the state government schools read and speak Hindi with greater clarity and confidence, an official said. "Aimed at Classes 3 to 8, the initiative uses artificial intelligence to assess reading speed, fluency, and accuracy in real time. The goal is to strengthen core language skills in schools where traditional resources are often stretched thin," the official said.
