PATNA, March 25 -- In an apparent case of lapse, a patient with respiratory symptoms, who was admitted to the Anugrah Narayan Medical College and Hospital (ANMCH) in Gaya, which has a large number of Buddhist followers at any given time, died without getting tested for the Coronavirus infection.

After the concerned family members raised an alarm, the civil surgeon rushed a team at the cremation ghat and the sample was taken on the pyre, as a positive case could have had serious repercussions.
