91 community health officers appointed byjharkhand govt
Ranchi, Sept. 10 -- In a ceremony held Tuesday at the Public Health Institute (PHI) auditorium in Namkum, State Health Minister Irfan Ansari gave appointment letters to ninety-one Community Health Officers (CHOs).
A Community Health Officer (CHO) is a non-physician healthcare professional who serves as a crucial link between communities and healthcare services, particularly in rural and underserved areas.
On this occasion, the minister assured all co-operation to CHOs.
"You all will have to face challenges, but do not be afraid... We have given you jobs, so we will also protect you," he said.
The minister said his department is rapidly strengthening the health system.
"Since taking charge, work is being done to strengthen the health system continuously. The improvements that could not be made in the last 25 years are now being completed rapidly," he said.
The minister on the occasion announced installation of MRI and CT scan machines in all Sadar Hospitals across the state.
"During my brief Bokaro tour, people told me how much financial and mental pain they have to bear due to the complete absence of MRI and CT scan machines in hospitals," he said....
