Dehradun, Feb. 22 -- Nainital Police made six fresh arrests in connection with the Haldwani violence, taking the total number of arrests to 74, an officer familiar with the matter said on Wednesday. Nainital senior superintendent of police (SSP) Prahlad Narayan Meena said, "On the basis of CCTV footage and other evidence, we have arrested six more accused for their role in the Haldwani violence. The total number of arrests now is 74." The key accused, Abdul Malik and his son Abdul Moid, are still at large. Look out circulars have already been issued against them, he said....
