ARA, July 7 -- The body of a minor girl missing for two days has been found after she was murdered and thrown away in a village under Piro police station, police said, adding, her body was found on Saturday evening from a pit filled with dung in the village. A blood mark was found on the face and a blood stain was found on the lower part of the body. The family suspects she was raped and then murdered, after which her body was thrown away. The victim was 4-year-old and resident under Piro police station area. Piro SDPO Krishna Kumar Singh and SHO Subodh Kumar reached the spot with police force and started investigating the case. The police also arrested the minor accused and his father and brother. The uncle of the victim told that on Thursday evening, when a drummer was passing through their street on Muharram, his niece followed him. When she did not return home at night, they launched a search for her but could not find her, after which the family lodged an FIR about her disappearance at Piro police station on Friday. Meanwhile, when a boy went to the same cow dung filled pit in the evening of Saturday, he saw a girl's leg sticking out. He informed it to the family members and they then informed the police. Police reached there and took the body in their possession and got post-mortem done at Ara sadar hospital. According to the inquest report prepared by the police, the girl appears to have been raped and then murdered. However, the cause of death would be clear only after the postmortem report, police said. On the other hand, on the instructions of Civil Surgeon Dr Shivendra Kumar Sinha, a board of four members of the doctors' team was formed and the postmortem of the body was done. SHO Subodh Kumar said the case was of suspected murder after rape. "Although the post mortem report has not come yet. The minor accused has been arrested for allegedly committing murder after rape and his father and brother were arrested for concealing the evidence of crime," he said....
