4 officials sacked after hospital roof collapse
Jaipur, May 4 -- Four officials, including a chief medical health officer of Jaipur's Sawai Man Singh Hospital were sacked on Saturday, two days after a portion of the roof of the building collapsed, injuring two patients, officials aware of the matter said.
"The action was taken against the four officials for their alleged negligence in maintenance of the hospital and ensuring patients' safety on the premises. Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma held a review meeting with the health department on Friday night and directed officials to take action.
