AURANGABAD, Sept. 25 -- Three women pilgrims were killed and four others, including the driver, critically injured when a speeding truck hit an auto-rickshaw in Aurangabad district on Tuesday evening, police said. The mishap occurred on Kutumba Road near Munshi Bigha village, which falls under the jurisdiction of Barun police station. The pilgrims were residents of different villages in Rohtas district and had reserved the auto-rickshaw at Sasaram bus stand. They were going to Mahua Dham in Aurangabad for worship during Navratri, a place famous for rituals believed to rid one of evil powers, police said. The deceased were identified as Fuleshari Devi (60) of Sasaram, Sita Devi (55) of Shivsagar, and Nanak Devi (50) of Chenari in Rohtas.
