3 held in patna for posing as cbi officials
PATNA, May 19 -- Patna police on Sunday arrested three criminals posing as fake CBI officers from Chiryantand flyover and recovered include two pistols, one country-made firearm, live cartridges, fake identity cards, army uniforms, a bike, and other incriminating materials.
SHO of SK Puri police station Prabhat Kumar said that the police arrested three criminals posing as fake CBI officers and they were involved in the loot with a man Aman Kumar near AN College under SK Puri police station on May 10.
"The police soon came into action and started an investigation in which they came to know that they were posing as fake CBI officers. The police identified the accused as Pratim Kumar (from Saharsa), Arvind Kumar (from Vaishali), and Nitish Kumar (from Dhanarua)," Kumar said.
"Gang leader, Arvind Kumar, used to pose as a special officer of the CBI, while his accomplices wore army uniforms to create an impression of authority over police personnel and common citizens. They used to snatch money and valuables from people under the guise of interrogation. All the arrested accused are being sent to jail after interrogation." SHO said....
