2 real estate bizmen killed in Muzaffarpur
PATNA, May 15 -- In the midst of tight security in Bihar's Muzaffarpur Town, a property dealer and his associate were shot dead by the unidentified armed miscreants near Zila School falling under Mithanpura police station area during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. Police are yet to identify the accused and, after the preliminary probe, police suspect that business-related rivalry may be the motive behind the killings and some suspects are being questioned.
The incident took place around late evening.
The deceased were identified as Mohammad Javed Faruqui (45) from Malighat and Raju Shah (42) from Taraura Gopalpur falling under Musehri police station. According to the police, both were declaredd brought dead in hospitals. After the incident, officers from Mithanpur and Town police stations reached the spot and recovered seven empty cartridges and pellets from the spot. An SIT was constituted to identify the culprits....
