PATNA, June 11 -- Bihar government on Tuesday relieved two senior IAS officers - Sanjay Agarwal and Daya Nidhan Pandey - for central deputation, according to a general administration department notification. 2002 batch IAS officer Agarwal, presently posted as Secretary, agriculture department, has been appointed as joint secretary, department of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare. Similarly, Daya Nidhan Pandey, 2006 batch IAS officer, who is presently posted as Secretary, Revenue & Land Reform Department, has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Steel. The Bihar government shifted 1997 batch IAS officer Pankaj Kumar, currently heading the post of Principal Secretary of Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) to the Agriculture department in the same capacity. He also held the positions of Enquiry commissioner of GAD, Principal Secretary of Food and consumer protection department and Bhar state Food and Supplies Corporation.
