2 held for possession of drugs, fake currency
Barmer, July 20 -- Two people were arrested on Saturday with illegal narcotics and counterfeit Indian currency worth Rs.29,000 in a major crackdown in Balotra district of Rajasthan, police said.
During preliminary interrogation, it was revealed that the accused used to obtain fake currency worth Rs.20,000 in exchange for Rs.10,000 in genuine notes, which they then used to purchase narcotics and earn profits. Balotra SP Amit Jain confirmed the incident....
