Mussoorie, Dec. 8 -- Two people died and four others were injured after the car they were travelling in fell into a 300-foot-deep gorge on the Tila Road in Thalisain block near Siyolaa Malli village in Pauri district on Saturday evening, revenue police officials familiar with the matter said. According to officials, the vehicle was on its way to Tilla village after attending the Bhunkhal festival when the incident took place. Chetan Singh Rawat, revenue inspector of Kanda Patti, said, "The deceased have been identified as Birendra Singh, 23, a resident of Tilla village, and Santosh Singh, 35, a resident of Tillai village in Pauri district. The four injured have been identified as Sitab Singh, 31, from Sankrodi village in Rudraprayag district; Sohan Singh, 35, from Tilla village; Birendra Singh, 25, from Sankrodi village in Rudraprayag district; and Birendra, 25, from Tilla village in Pauri district."
