PATNA, June 26 -- A 15-year-old minor girl on Tuesday alleged that she was sexually assaulted by an Instagram friend along with his three other friends at a hotel under the jurisdiction of Kotwali police station. All the accused are students of Classes 8 to 10. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), law and order, Patna, Krishna Murari Prasad, said that the incident came to light on Tuesday night following which the police swung into action and took the four named accused into custody for interrogation. On the other hand, the girl was sent to a hospital for medical examination. The police officer further said that the statement of the victim girl will be recorded before the court in this context. The case was lodged on the basis of the statement of the victim's parents. One of the accused told the police that the girl first befriended a boy through Instagram and later connected with all of them over a period of time. "One month ago, the girl reached the house of her boyfriend at Deepnagar area under Mehendiganj police station and developed physical relations. Later, she went to a hotel located on Bypass road and made physical relations with all three boys," said the accused....
