Ranchi, March 26 -- Over 15 lakh students studying in Classes 5, 6 and 7 will be promoted to higher classes without any examination. The final examinations of these classes, which were scheduled from March 30, have been cancelled in the wake of lockdown imposed to check the spread of coronavirus, an official said.

Jharkhand State Educational Research and Training (JSERT), has circulated an order in this regard to all district superintendents of education (DSEs).
