12 Bihar cops injured in 3 separate incidents
PATNA, Sept. 7 -- Twelve policemen were injured in three separate incidents of mob violence in Jamui, Vaishali and Samastipur districts of Bihar, officials said on Saturday.

A viral video from the incident shows a mob surrounding policemen, snatching weapons and forcing an armed constable to plead with folded hands for his release. Two female sub-inspectors, Urmila Kumari and Shubham Jha, were also seen crying for help as the crowd grew violent.

A named FIR will be lodged and strict action taken. No one will be spared," the SP said.
