PATNA, July 30 -- A 10-year-old boy died of electrocution at Khalilpur village under the jurisdiction of Phulwarisharif police station on Tuesday morning, police said. The incident occurred when the boy, identified as Asif Raza, came in contact with a live electric wire while on his way to school. Upon receiving news of the incident, family members and police officials from Phulwarisharif police station rushed to the scene. Asif was taken to the community health centre, where doctors declared him dead. He was the son of Mohammed Faizal alias Kas, a resident of Khalilpur. Family members told the police that Asif was unaware of the danger as the wire had fallen on a waterlogged road near the school.
