'RJD patronised corruption during its rule in Bihar in 1990s'
BETTIAH, Aug. 24 -- Janata Dal (United)'s Bihar state president Umesh Kushwaha on Saturday launched a frontal attack on the opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), alleging that the party had patronised corruption during its rule in the 1990s.
Addressing the NDA Vidha Sabha Karyakarta Sammelan on the grounds of Baba Bhoota Nath (BBN) College at Ausani in Bagaha-2 block, Kushwaha also took swipes at Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Bihar Assembly Opposition leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, terming their 'Yatra' a futile exercise. "During the RJD rule, there were numerous scams and corruption was rampant," he said....
