PATNA, Nov. 16 -- The case of a man allegedly lynched months ago but surfacing on Thursday in his village has taken everyone by surprise, especially the police.
Krishna Manjhi, 32, was reportedly lynched by a mob on suspicions of being a child lifter on August 10 in Naubatpur police station area.
After receiving the information of the incident, the police had rushed to the spot and arrested 23 people in connection with the case.
However, on Thursday, Manjhi returned to his Nisarpura village under Raniatalab police station area, 90 km west of the state capital.
Since his return, people in his village have been flocking his home to see the "reincarnated" man.
