PATNA, Nov. 24 -- The minimum temperature across the state was expected to drop by 1degC - 3degC in the next two days, and was expected to be in the range of 12.3degC to 19.7degC, according to the weather forecast by the IMD on Sunday. There will not be any significant change in the maximum and minimum temperature after that, with the maximum temperature expected to be between 26degC and 30degC. Dry and hazy conditions along with moderate westerlies, with gusts up to 30 km/h is expected across the state, as per the weather forecast for the next two days by the Bihar Mausam Sewa Kendra (BMSK), the meteorological wing of the state government that analyses and makes weather prediction up to the block level. Adhuara block of Kaimur (Bhabua) district recorded the state's lowest temperature of 10.4degC while Chainpur block of Kaimur district recorded the maximum temperature of 32.6degC during the last 24 hours. Kaimur, East Champaran, West Champaran, Araria, Rohtas, were among districts that recorded the lowest temperature ranging between 10.4degC and 13.2degC. The state's maximum temperature hovered between 25.4degC and 30.4degC. Patna recorded a maximum temperature of 26.5degC on Sunday and a minimum temperature of 17.2degC.
