New Delhi, July 9 -- A 19-year-old man and his 17-year-old friend were found dead at a house in Delhi's Najafgarh on Sunday afternoon. Police on Tuesday said that preliminary investigation suggests the two teenagers allegedly died by suicide after their families opposed their relationship. Investigators said that the bodies were found inside the girl's house. Police said the families of the deceased, who had known each other for two to three years, blamed one another for harassment and had opposed the relationship. On Sunday, the man's family alleged that the girl's family had threatened their son in the past. However, police said that no evidence of foul play was found during investigation. Police added that the post-mortem reports are awaited. "There were no visible injuries, and doctors have opined death due to hanging," said an investigator.
