Take back 32 students struck off rolls over fee row: DoE tells DPS
New Delhi, May 16 -- The Directorate of Education (DoE) on Thursday directed Delhi Public School, Dwarka, to immediately reinstate 32 students struck off the rolls over unpaid fee, calling the move a violation of court orders.
Citing a recent inspection, the DoE said the school sent students home without parental consent and withheld admit cards over fee disputes. "No child should suffer because of a difference over fee," the DoE said, noting the matter is pending in the Delhi high court....
