Red Fort blast accused doc taken to Al-Falah
Faridabad, Nov. 26 -- The National Investigation Agency on Monday brought Dr Muzammil Shakeel Ganaie, arrested in the Red Fort blast case, to the Al-Falah Medical College campus for location identification before taking him to Sohna's Anaj Mandi to point out shops where he allegedly bought 1,600kg of ammonium nitrate, officials said.
The team spent nearly two hours retracing areas he frequented, including his cabin, residential rooms and points where he met students and associates, to reconstruct his routine and examine suspected coordination spots. He was then taken to rented houses in Dhauj and Fatehpur Taga used to stockpile materials.
Police said he purchased ammonium nitrate between December 2022 and February 2023 from two licensed fertilizer shops in Sohna. Shopkeepers said they had handed over invoices to police. One said, "He said he bought 600kg from us." Another said his son was briefly detained and told police the doctor purchased 1,000kg. They added that Ganaie was part of a radicalised terror network....
