Greater Noida, Feb. 9 -- Auto Expo 2020 recorded footfall of over one lakh on Saturday, after the motor show was opened for the general public at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida. The increased number of visitors led to long queues at the venue. Rush of visitors to the expo also led to a traffic jam outside the venue, all the way up to the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.

Debasish Majumder, Senior Director, Trade Fair and Events, Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), said, "We are getting a similar response this year as the previous year. On Friday, we had recorded footfall of 70,000, since it was a business day. The number of visitors increased to a lakh on Saturday as it was opened for the public," he said.
