Noida, Jan. 3 -- Days after two men in their 20s were allegedly rammed to death in Sector 37 by an SUV following an altercation with a group of unidentified men in Sector 30, police on Friday said they were trying to track down the vehicle and identify the suspects. A police officer, requesting anonymity, said: "The SUV was a Mahindra Scorpio. We are identifying all the Scorpios that were in the area that day. A team is also working to contact the SUV owners. The car was spotted on multiple CCTV cameras, and teams are working to track down the vehicle." Basant Khasu, 22, and Rohan Mandal, 26, died on December 30, allegedly after being rammed by the vehicle against an iron grille in Sector 37. Relatives of the victims have alleged that the collision was not an accident but the culmination of a chase that began after a dispute at a food cart in Sector 30. A group of people in an SUV followed the duo and intentionally hit them, leaving the bike pinned against an iron grille, they added. On Friday, Khasu's family members also approached the district administration and agreed to an autopsy, which was conducted late Friday evening. Shavya Goyal, additional deputy commissioner of police (Noida), said: "The probe will now widen and become full-fledged. Efforts are underway to identify the SUV and nab the suspects as soon as possible." Khasu's father, Hari Khasu, and other family members approached the DM office on Friday. "The DM was not available, but we submitted a complaint there, and were assured of justice," Khasu told HT. Police said the case is being investigated from all angles....
