NOIDA, Jan. 3 -- The Noida authority is set to approve 16 agendas related to development, court and real estate projects, among others in its board meeting on Saturday. Departments, including legal, land, planning and group housing, among others, have prepared proposals for discussion, said officials. Uttar Pradesh industrial and infrastructure development commissioner and authority's chairman, Deepak Kumar, will chair the meeting. Key issues to be tabled include approval of the unified policy for all three industrial bodies - Noida, Greater Noida and the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida), master plan of Sports City housing project, setting up of sewage treatment plant inside housing and commercial complexes, realtors' land dispute settlement and fund allocation for the Noida International airport project, said officials. "We have prepared all agendas and the board will discuss and decide on further action," said Lokesh M, Noida authority chief executive officer. Senior officials of Noida authority, Greater Noida authority and the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authoritywill take part in the meeting. In the last three years, the Uttar Pradesh government has directed the three industrial bodies to prepare and finalise the unified policy for plot allotment so that allottees know the terms and conditions of the process. The three industrial bodies had earlier discussed suggestions in regard to the police. The Noida authority is likely to revise the financial eligibility of a company interested in buying industrial plots, kiosks or other property in the city. Earlier, under the draft policy, a company had to have a big turnover to become eligible to buy any plot or property. However, entrepreneurs demanded the turnover to be reduced so that new players can also participate, said officials. The board will also finalise the settlement of real estate projects, said officials. The board will also allow Noida authority to pursue pending legal cases in different courts against farmers, plot allottees and companies, said officials. The authority will also discuss the funding proposal for the Noida International airport slated to become operational in 2026. The Noida and the Greater Noida authority have 37.5 percent stake each in the project, and the Yeida has 12.5 stake. In the 2024-25 financial year, the Noida authority released Rs.600 crore for the project, and wants to provide more funding, added officials....
