Noida, May 29 -- A man, absconding for last four years after an alleged Rs.12-crore fraud, was arrested on Wednesday, police said. The suspect, Prakash Jha, 42, a resident of Mangolpuri, Delhi, defrauded hundreds of flat owners by forging fake Board of Resolution (BOR) papers in his name, said Sector 63 SHO Avdhesh Pratap Singh. Besides, the accused also he also forged house registry documents, to sell properties, the SHO said. He was held on Wednesday in Sector 63 over a Noida-based builder's complaint in 2021 for fraud after a Rs.12 crore embezzlement was found in annual audit, Singh said. htc...
