NOIDA, April 8 -- The nationwide lockdown has stranded over 10,000 trucks, belonging to the transporters of Gautam Budh Nagar district, in different parts of the country and they are incurring losses of over Rs.2 crore per day.

Shiv Kumar Sharma, president of Noida transporters' association, said that due to the lockdown, many goods carrying vehicles have halted in states such as Gujarat, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan.
