new delhi, May 20 -- An IIT Roorkee student, a physics student from Kanpur and their three friends were arrested by Delhi Police for allegedly running a fake online platform that induced people to invest in stocks. The matter came to light on April 22 when a man reported that he lost Rs.32 lakh on the fake trading platform, which he discovered through WhatsApp. Police officials said that the accused routed the cheated money to different international accounts in China and Cambodia.
